It really is a closet. What a claustrophobic space! But instead he just lets out sleepy giggles and drops his head against Lan Wangji's shoulder again, mumbling — ]

[ When they're inside, in the scant amount of room, Wei Wuxian will peel himself away from Lan Wangji to stand on his own two feet again. He's dressed up a little for club night, because he doesn't have the benefit of having his robes back. Without even thinking about it, he's going to start undressing for sleep. Down to his boxer briefs and black t-shirt, he dumps his clothes on the floor in a pile in the corner before moving to crawl into the bed. ]
[ Lan Wangji isn't sure what he was expecting, but he probably should have figured out that Wei Wuxian was going to strip before bed. There are a good few seconds of staring while the jacket comes off, before he is busying himself by aligning the kicked-off shoes next to his own as he toes out of them, and then proceeding to pick up the clothes tossed on the ground, folding them into a neat little pile and placing them on a small shelf at the foot of the bed, just inches from the floor, the one and only storage space in this room. ]
Only a bed required.
[ There's that Lan upbringing, shining through. While it isn't the Jingshi and he misses the ample space or being able to play his guqin, a bedroom is a place to sleep and that is what the resort provided. He cannot complain- anything extra is his responsibility to acquire, it would be improper.
His own white robes are removed soon after, leaving him in only his usual undershirt and loose trousers as he folds them up and arranges them next to Wei Wuxian's. A flick of a switch turns the light off, but a miniscule nightlight up on the wall above the head of the bed ensures they still have some lighting as he stands and watches, waiting for Wei Wuxian to pick a spot in the bed before he follows. ]
[ Wei Wuxian doesn't even notice the staring, nor the cleaning up after him. It's just... part and parcel of being with Lan Wangji! He's sleepy and ready to cuddle, because even if there's only a bed in here, it's still a comfortable bed and more plush than the wooden beds they're used to back home. How's he ever going to go back, truly...?
He'll tug the covers free when he crawls onto the bed and then climbs underneath them, favoring one side of the bed so Lan Wangji can have the other. It's after he's settled in that he realizes he's still got his hair tied so he'll untie the ribbon then, letting it fall loose and cramming the ribbon under the pillow for him to deal with in the morning. He does this as he waits for Lan Wangji and when the other man is finally in bed with him, he won't waste any time in crawling closer.
Yep, he's going to cuddle. When Lan Wangji is laying down, he's going to curl closer and wrap his arms around his middle, laying his head on his chest and closing his eyes as he cuddles up against his side. No hesitations! He's been without Lan Wangji for two months, as if he's going to hesitate to cuddle the other man now. ]

[ He settles into bed soon after, sliding into the space left for him as he sets his head down upon the pillow and draws the bed sheets up to cover them. Wei Wuxian snuggles up as he had expected (hoped) and once he has a hand lightly draped down the other man's back, enough to hold him close, he reaches for the little switch on the wall to turn off the nightlight as well. ]
Good night, Wei Ying.
[ Despite his fatigue, Lan Wangji does not fall asleep immediately. It's just nice, soothing in a way, to have Wei Ying beside him. To feel the warmth of him, to hear his breath as his chest rises and falls against his own, proof that he is here, and he is safe. His thumb brushes over Wei Wuxian's spine in tiny, almost undetectable movements as he feels his eyes growing heavy, allowing them to fall closed...
Until a series of what can only be described as muffled groans appear out of nowhere, causing them to open up again. Weird? Kind of sounded like— but no it couldn't be— surely not. Probably related to those rumours of crying ghosts on the maintenance floor below them. They should probably look into that tomorrow. Yeah. ]
[ Wei Wuxian is so content within Lan Wangji's arms that he almost doesn't notice the noises at first. There's the soft feel of his hand against his back, the scent of sandalwood in his nose, the warm chest under his head, the rise and fall of his breathing. He's so happy, so satisfied, that he doesn't think anything could bother him right now.
Of course, then the muffled noises start up and... continue and Wei Wuxian's brow furrows slightly. Hm, seems like the walls are thin down here too. What a shame. It's at a particularly distinct noise, one that can't be mistaken for the ghosts, that Wei Wuxian snorts. That sure was a loud cry. ]
[ It is stupid. Sooo stupid. The entire situation is just— ]

[ Here they are trapped in some inescapable sex-cursed realm, cooped up in a tiny bed in what can hardly qualify as a room, now having to undergo the torture of listening to a stranger's rhythmic moans. Lan Wangji does his best to try and simply block it out, to focus on something else but instead, all it does is make him hyper aware of have close and tangled up the two of them are. That's no good. Time to recite some precepts in his head, that's always a safe move..

[ Wei Wuxian is less bothered by it, mostly because he's been here for a bit now and had to learn to adapt. But he can tell that it's bothering Lan Wangji, if only by the tension running through his body when he was so relaxed just a few moments ago. So, Wei Wuxian laughs a little and nuzzles his face against Lan Wangji's chest before propping his head up on his chin to look at Lan Wangji's face in the darkness.
The hand settled on his chest rubs up and down, soothingly, just stroking Lan Wangji's chest to calm him down. ]
C'mon, c'mon, that's not fair. They're just... enjoying themselves! Plus, what if you miss?
[ Things to consider!
He's also considering what to do. They can go up to his room, but that would require getting dressed again which is a pain. Or he can distract Lan Wangji somehow. Though at that thought, the idea of distracting him with... a similar endeavor comes to mind and he's glad they're in the darkness so the pink of his cheeks isn't visible. ]
We could... go to my room, if you want? Or we just wait it out. It's not going to last that long, I bet.
[ He won't do it, not really. What if he did get the wrong person? And even if it was the right one, it would be strange to insert himself, however non-directly, into an intimate moment between others. On thoughts he should not be having in order to distract from the way Wei Wuxian is practically feeling up his chest while they are treated to a symphony of sex sounds, that one pretty much tops the list. He practically squirms for a hot second before settling down again, reaching out with his own hand to cover the one on his chest, coaxing it to submit to being held instead of continuing its wanderings.]

[ Thankfully, Wei Wuxian remains oblivious to Lan Wangji's inner turmoil. Even when the hand envelops his own, all he does is let their hands wrap together and squeezes Lan Wangji's fingers before settling. He'll curl up even closer, nuzzling his face against Lan Wangji's throat and then sighing softly as he closes his eyes and rests, half laying on top of him.
It would be perfect, if not for those sounds. Those sounds that he tries to ignore himself but can't help but think of how easy it'd be to... to fall into something similar with Lan Wangji. They fucked in the omegadome, and that was... honestly, fantastic, but they haven't done anything like that again since. They haven't even talked about it. He wonders if Lan Wangji is interested in having sex with him again at all? This place kind of encourages it but if he's just focused on collecting cards, he might not care to do it again now that he has Wei Wuxian's card.
... Which is slightly disappointing. He really wants to kiss Lan Wangji again. ]

[ And then there's just a soft sigh as he closes his eyes and settles on Lan Wangji, trying to fall asleep. ]
[ The nuzzling really does not help either and Lan Wangji's throat bobs as he swallows, sensing it going dry as he feels Wei Wuxian all warm against his skin, nose filling with the familiar scent of him. He cannot help but think about how much he'd really like to just flip them over, to kiss again and put his mouth on Wei Ying's throat, to draw out similar noises to the ones broadcast by their neighbours still in the throes of passion.
Just like that time on the floor in the woods, the only time. The subject that neither of them have brought up at all, never mind discussed at length. Lan Wangji likely won't either, not unless he has to, not wishing to chance a confirmation that it won't happen again, especially when it is not necessary— they collected each other's cards after all.

All ne needs to do is close his eyes and his ears and not give in to temptuous thoughts, not think about manhandling the warm and beautiful soulmate currently snuggled up to him in bed, and subdue the obvious interest making its presence known between his legs..
It's then he realises Wei Wuxian's hand is held in a tight grip and he suddenly releases it, the hand still on his back falling away too as Lan Wangji goes very, very still in response, only his chest rising in shallow, measured breaths much like when he is meditating. It is fine. He's got this. ]
[ When Lan Wangji lets go, there's a curious noise from Wei Wuxian, instinctively wanting his touch back. He tilts his head up to look up at Lan Wangji in the dark but all he can see is the tight line of his jaw so he drops his head back to pressing it against his throat, nose tucked against his skin and hot breath ghosting over Lan Wangji's throat.
He cuddles closer, wanting to be held, wanting to hold, and sighs quietly against him as his arm settles against his chest, curling fingers against the opposite shoulder than the one he's pillowed against. The noises continue and he can tell that Lan Wangji is still not asleep, though neither is he, and he wonders if he should make conversation. Distract him, a little bit. His eyes close and his voice comes, a little sleepy as he rubs his nose against Lan Wangji's throat. ]
Mmm. Wonder if they're other guests like us or the normal guests. Probably good that they're enjoying themselves. Don't wanna turn into stone, ya know?
[ Actually, he doesn't know if Lan Wangji knows that part yet. Whoops. ]
[ Yeah, he actually knows nothing about that at all. What? Thankfully it does distract from the everything going on, Lan Wangji turning his head a little more towards Wei Wuxian so he can prod him with further questioning. ]
[ Oh! He ... definitely probably should have told Lan Wangji this, he realizes. He just kind of left him to his own devices, huh? Haha, oops. There's still more cuddling, because he really likes the cuddling, pulling the blanket up further on them and curling more underneath it, against Lan Wangji. A sleepy yawn. ]

There's also... this I'm not sure if the lack of sex is the cause but some of the statues around the resort are people who were guests here pulled in from other worlds. [ This is not good news at all. Since it is Wei Ying explaining it to him he does not doubt the integrity, and now he has to focus on the implications of it. They will turn to stone without...what? [ He's not expecting the question that comes and tenses slightly in response. It feels... weird to talk about sleeping with other people with Lan Wangji. He's not sure why! But it's just... weird. It's not like he's done anything wrong though, right? He was just fooling around. Sometimes with strangers, sometimes with good friends.

Of course Lan Wangji is a complete hypocrite because if the roles were reversed and Wei Wuxian was in danger he would do it in a heartbeat, but whatever!! ]
[ There's a wince here because he knows exactly how it sounds. Even if he doesn't want it to sound like that at all. At all. But he doesn't know how to explain himself, doesn't know how to be honest about this. There's so much that they just innately know about each other but this... this is different. New. Uncomfortable.
In a bit of frustration, Wei Wuxian thumps his head against Lan Wangji's shoulder a few times before just leaving his face pressed against it. He's quiet for a moment as he tries to figure out how to explain. He hasn't figured it out yet by the time he talks, choosing his words as he goes and mumbling them against Lan Wangji's shoulder. ]
It's not... like that. I wouldn't offer to... anyone else. You're the only one...
[ An unhappy noise here because he doesn't know what to say.
Now the next part comes so quietly, it's almost a whisper. Like he's just not confident enough in what he's saying to say it so boldly, but he wants to say something. ]
I... liked kissing you, okay? So... if you need to kiss anyone... I want you to pick me first...
[ It is such a relief to hear that Wei Wuxian hasn't been going around offering because he feels that he needs to. Even better that this has been the only time, and a quiet admission lets him know that what happened in that game was not an entirely regretful or uncomfortable experience. The tension Lan Wangji was holding begins to taper off little by little, and after a moment he decides to turn and face his friend, the arm still tucked underneath him rising to support the back of Wei Wuxian's head as his other reaches across his own body to rest on a hip, to keep him in place while he moves.
Important conversations should take place face to face, that is what he has always been taught, and it doesn't matter if it's too dark to actually see, meaning it doesn't matter if he still keeps Wei Wuxian's face pressed into the crook of his neck. This is important, a conversation to clear the air which is long past due. ]
Mn. But you must come to me in return, if it is needed.
[ Their problems must be faced together, here as they are back home. And since they are actually, finally talking about what happened before— ]

[ He's a little surprised when Lan Wangji shifts to move them around, when he turns onto his side to face Wei Wuxian. The guy always sleeps stiff as a board so it must mean he's trying to make sure this conversation is had, that Wei Wuxian understands him. It makes something go a little funny in his heart as a result but he'll shift to curl up with Lan Wangji regardless.
His arms move to rest against Lan Wangji's chest, fingers curling lightly in his robes. The hand on his hip, the arm pillowing his head, it all does its job of making Wei Wuxian feel protected and safe in Lan Wangji's arms and so, he settles, any tension dropping out of him even as they broach the conversation topic they've been avoiding.
You must come to me in return, if it is needed. Wei Wuxian feels light at these words and wonders, does this mean he can kiss him whenever he wants or only during a suit flare? He wonders, he wonders.
But the next part has even more heady implications and he swallows, hard. To hear that Lan Wangji didn't find it unpleasant... knowing the other man as he does, he knows that's high praise, that he must have enjoyed it as much as Wei Wuxian did. Right? ]
You liked it? [ He sounds so hopeful when he asks that, unable to keep the ache of tenderness out of his voice. ] I liked it too.

[ Since it is brought up he wants to make that crystal clear, it works both ways. There is no mention of 'while we are here' though and that is very specific. Because the same would apply once in Gusu, even though he knows it unlikely. Wei Ying didn't appear to like him in that way, is likely to leave him and go travel again soon enough once the rules of Cloud Recesses become too constrictive, meaning here may be the only place he gets to experience that life he longed for. A situation prompted by necessity, it is wrong, so wrong, it almost feels like he is stealing it and yet...]

[ It's a quiet call into an ear for attention as the hand leaves Wei Wuxian's hip, coming up to settle on his chin instead. Thumb and fingers tilt it upwards, close enough that their noses rub together, and warm breath mixes between them.
I want to, it's all he needs to say, yet in the moment he can't bring himself to do it. Afraid that three tiny words would give too much away, that the unsteadiness of his voice would betray just how much it is wanted, so instead he just hovers there and lets his thumb lightly trace the corner of the mouth under it, hoping that his intention can be heard without him having to actually say it. ]
[ The sentiment is shared and returned. Need only ask. Take. And Wei Wuxian feels his heart pounding in his chest at those words because he doesn't quite know how to deal with the reality of them. It means that they both want this, that they both are willing to give to the other. At least, while they're here, right? It's not like they have to justify themselves to anyone while here either — who else is here from their world? Xue Yang? Xiao Xingchen? The former who doesn't care what Wei Wuxian does as long as it entertains him, the latter who avoids him out of fear of a reputation. They're no one he has to worry about.
What happens between him and Lan Wangji only matters between the two of them. They know their hearts better than any others, Wei Wuxian knows he'd feel the most safe and comfortable doing this with Lan Wangji over anyone else. He's built good relationships while here, easy friendships that are slowly growing into heartfelt ones. But Lan Wangji is still his most important person and he wants to share everything with him, even this.
His fingers curl a little tighter in Lan Wangji's robes as he feels the hand on his hip move to settle on his chin, to tilt his face upwards. The soft sound of his name in a voice he finds such comfort in. He doesn't need Lan Wangji to speak the words out loud when he hears them without them being said. He presses forward that little bit of space between them and connects their mouths together, kissing Lan Wangji so softly, so earnestly. His eyes flutter close and he sighs softly, losing himself to the touch. ]
[ Their lips meet and his own eyes fall closed in response, content that his intentions were understood. The kiss is soft, sweet, something more fitting as a first kiss than whatever happened in the omegadome and he went straight for shoving tongues into throats. It ends rather quickly as he lets their lips brush together and then falls into another one, a second, and then a third, all soft, short and rather chaste little things as he traces over Wei Wuxian's cheekbone with a light touch.
But then it settles in that they are really doing this, if Wei Ying changed his mind he would have made it known by now, and the people next door are still going at it and it gives him a burst of confidence. In a swift motion his hand drops to the shoulder just below it and pushes against it as his body advances forward, crowding Wei Wuxian's space and forcing him to retreat until his back meets with the mattress below it, Lan Wangji hovering over him as he kisses him again in a way that is decidedly not as chaste— open mouthed and a little tongue, a kiss that he quite clearly does not intend to break any time soon. ]
[ The chaste kisses are nice and sweet and Wei Wuxian is deeply enjoying them. He can drown out the sound of the pair next door with even just this, and be content with even just this as well. So, he doesn't push for more, just settles his hands flat on Lan Wangji's chest and kisses him so sweetly, so gently. He really likes this guy and being able to do this with him is... everything.
But then Lan Wangji seems to get a burst of confidence from somewhere and is pushing him back, onto his back, and Wei Wuxian makes a curious noise before his mouth is enveloped by hot tongue and open mouthed kisses. He's surprised by it, initially, but there's no way he doesn't feel the pull to sink into them and so, he does. His hands slide up from resting on Lan Wangji's chest to wrap his arms around his neck, one of his legs hooking around Lan Wangji's hip and he kisses him back with just as much hunger and need as Lan Wangji is showing him. Okay, yeah, the chaste kisses were nice but this is... this is better. ]
[ Being together feels so much better this time. Away from that forest and the effects of the game, knowing that each move made here is entirely because of them. The conscious decision to swipe his tongue across Wei Ying's own, to hold his face with a broad palm as they kiss, knowing that the hands clutching the back of his own neck, tightening their grip, do so because it is wanted, desired.
He shifts briefly to his elbows as he hoists himself a little further up, letting more of his weight press Wei Wuxian down as he keeps his soulmate trapped there beneath him in a flurry of kisses. It feels wonderful, feels right. Lan Wangji isn't exactly sure what the intention is here and he wonders if Wei Ying is still battling against the call to slumber— it's too hard to tell in the absence of light— but perhaps if he's lucky he will be able to keep this, he thinks. To continue indulging in the taste of his mouth, and if sleep finally takes him they will remain like this, in each other's arms and Wei Ying nicely nestled under him, safe, warm, within optimal distance to steal a few more kisses.
[ Wei Wuxian is still tired, sleep still calling at him even through all of this. But the kisses energize him, despite himself. They have him aching for more, wanting to touch and kiss and... do much more with Lan Wangji than just this. His heart feels so full, so happy, with every kiss than is placed on his lips and he just can't get enough. He's always, always been addicted to any attention he can get from Lan Wangji and this is just the pinnacle of that attention.
More of Lan Wangji's weight presses down upon him and he groans softly, his leg tightening on Lan Wangji's hip and fingers sinking into the back of his hair. His mouth opens for that tongue, letting their mouths move against each other and moaning softly around it. He wants... he wants to continue to feel Lan Wangji's weight pressing him down into the mattress. He wants to continue to feel his mouth, devouring him completely. He wants to continue kissing, and kissing, and kissing, and kissing.

There's also... this I'm not sure if the lack of sex is the cause but some of the statues around the resort are people who were guests here pulled in from other worlds. One day they just turned into stone and never got better. I think some people leave, [ citation needed tho ] but some people don't and instead that happens to them.
